The Missouri Woods & Water podcast covers a variety of outdoor-related topics including hunting and fishing strategies from successful outdoorsmen. Host Nate Thomas, cohosts Micah Winstead and Andrew Homfeld, are avid sportsmen with a deep passion for the outdoors. The goal of this podcast is to share knowledge about our natural resources, tell amazing stories, and help educate the listener about all the hunting and fishing opportunities in the great state of Missouri and beyond.

  • Nate Thomas was born and raised in west central Missouri. He grew up camping and fishing with his dad, but didn't get into hunting until his late teens. Since then, Nate has been obsessed with bowhunting and chasing whitetail and elk. On the other end of the spectrum, he also has a passion for predator hunting and a precise rifle is a thing of beauty.

  • Micah Winstead moved to the great state of Missouri when he was 8 years old and fell in love with everything this great state has to offer. When he’s not spending time with his family you can find him in the woods chasing whitetail and calling in coyotes.

  • Andrew Homfeld is a Lafayette County, Missouri Native. Growing up on a farm just outside of town, he has spent much of his life enjoying the outdoors. No matter if bow hunting deer or elk, chasing turkey, or calling coyotes, he enjoys the challenge of the wild outdoors.
